Do Black people think he was a Doctor?<P>
I was driving around New Brunswick today looking for one of his lost lambs of the flock (bail jumper) and I passed the First Church of whats Happenin' Now. And as church let out I saw a bunch of sisters adorned in beautiful white dresses with Nurse Hats and red stripes on them.

I'm not a big fan of racism, but even I can laugh every now and then at one.
This story flew right over my head.

The reason they wear that stuff is because when someone dies, it's like a re-birth and of course, that stuff happens at hospitals. So essentially when someone dies, they dress that way for the deceased to prepare him/her for their re-birth in their new place with God.
AMEN!...Can I get an Amen! Praise the lord and all that stuff! A funeral can last for several hours due to alot of people giving Testimonials which seem to drag and drag...so the priest or deacon try to limit the time to under 2 minutes (but many people go over). There's alot of singing and hollering too.

Perhaps the person who died was a nurse colleague and the people in attendance attended the funeral in the middle of the workday and will go back to the hospital following the funeral.
On a more serious note, Jesus was a carpenter? His mom and dad must have been so disappointed. Not even an accountant? tsk tsk.

Maybe they're nuns who served in the army as medic...what....what it could happen. If you watch "The Longest Day" (It's quite old, and about Normandy) during it nuns come to the allies headquarters with nurse hats and acted as nurses for the wounded men....it might have something to do with it but i doubt it.

On a more serious note, Jesus was a carpenter?
I happened to see something on the History Channel that said Jesus was probably a stone mason, and not a carpenter, since the region he is believed to grow up in was devoid of trees, and all buildings there were made of brick.

And what about the missing 18 years of Jesus's life? Was he smokin, drinkin, gamblin, and using his powers to get chicks? If so, there's still a chance for ME to be Jesus in 2004!

Jesus built my hotrod!
Jesus also told Deion Sanders not to pay more than $1500 for car restorations.
This proves that Jesus is an auto-mechanic.
