I have to say that when I first read the news about this show, I htought that nothing could top the mid-90s cartoon.
But damn, was I wrong!
The new Spider-man uses the voices of Lisa Loeb as Mary Jane, Ian Ziering as Harry Osbourne and Neil Patrick Harris (Doogie Howser, as everyone calls him) as your friendly Neighborhood Spider-man
Talk about 90s! Weren't all these people done with before 1996?
Anyway, their voices fit perfectly with their characters. As fo the animation, the cel shading 3d works so much better than regulat 3d computer animation. It feels much more fluid and it's a bit more faithful to a comic book.
The only part you may or may not like is the slo-mo during some fight scenes, but I think it works well.
Spider-man kicks ass, but will this show last on reality show crazy MTV?
I'd much rather have it on Fox or cartoon network.
