Your thoughts on Slamball

I really love this sport. It combines Basketball with Hockey and adds a video game like action to keep you excited.

It's not only fast and fun to watch, it's also competitive. I really find it far more intresting then NBA basketball. They still need to develope fan fare, but I think it's one of the new extreme games that has a chance to become more main stream.

What do you feel about Slamball?

i think the game is awesome. its made up of all washed up athletes and people who didn't make it to the professional leagues (of whatever sport they were goin' to), and the game is pretty easy to understand.

slam ball is fuckin sick. guys get hammered tryin to dunk. it reminds me of pick up games in middle school where we let this kid we all hated play so we could rough him up. but overall its fun as anything to watch and the chance for serious injury usually will get me to watch something

first off, pro wiffle ball would be great, id finally have a chance. anyway, no one is sayin its goin to replace basketball. its just a twisted fun alternative. if you dont like it dont fuckin watch it, but if you seriously do watch it once its cool. wouldnt it be great to see kobe go up for a dunk and kmart just comes flyin in and spears him.

What was the name of the sport where they had people with skate/blades scoring points trying to pass other people. It was hot in the 70's and they tried to make a comeback in the 90's. That's what Slamball reminds me of.

Well that's because the first season was basicly for fun. The teams werent competing to win they just wanted to show people the game.

This is the first REAL season.
