Anyone else not able to tell between songs

I work 8 hours in an office so pretty much all day i have k rock on. ive noticed today that probably 40% of the songs all sound like the same song. i know krock and all other radio stations play songs obsessively but may it also be that it just sounds like the songs play a little more than they actually do. why does all new music have to sound like cookie cutter crap. be original goddammit

If you want shit that all sounds the same try rap. K-Rock, as well as most stations, only play about seven different songs anyway so chances are they sound the same because you hear each one nine times a day.

the only good thing i've heard on k-rock lately is when dave grohl stopped by in the studios last week and played some different songs from a bunch of different bands.

and new rock music is really suckin' today. there is practically no variety. its all meshing together into one single, crappy, boring sound. the only good thing K-Rock is doin' anymore is continuing to play Soundgarden, Alice in Chains and STP.

i swear, if i hear "Like A Stone" or "Seven-Nation Army" i might do something i'll regret. K-Rock is making me hate Audioslave. And that sucks. cuz Chris Cornell is awesome.

The only goo thing on the Radio is Ron and Fez, Howard Stern runs a distant second.
Thats why I own an I-pod. The 30GB, I may never have to hear another repeated song EVER!

Upd@te, ive been at work since 2, and though this is the first time ive heard like a stone, its the 4th audioslave song. maybe thats why, they play bands that all sound the same and all the bands songs sound the same and since there is only 12 diff songs anway, it all sounds like one. lets start a radio station that each hour played a diff type of music by request, that station would be huge

I would listen to that station! Hell YEAH! We can call it the ALL MUSIC, ALL DAY, NO TALK, ALL PLAY!
There are so many quality bands out there, yet K rock feels the need to play Jump Around??? By a band that was labeled Hip-Hop??? Something needs to be done now!

here is the problem. krock doesnt play anything. a list is compiled of the most requested songs from the genre of the radio station and they pick songs off the list. sadly that means though we have heard Like a Stone 10 million times, some people must still be asking for it. i just say get one station that says we are this kinda music, and anything from that you call up for if we have time we will play. just make one station like that for each type of music and everyone will be happy. instead of gay rock with the same 8 songs or z100 where you can hear incubus then 50 cent then norah jones and then led zepplin.

Snoogans, first off, K-rock does not take requests. It's a myth. They take who's coming out with an albumn and who has hype at the time and plays them. If they took requests, the playlist would be as diverse as America itself.
