thank you hk, i made the call the other day and it's set up. but i sincerely wish i did it online. they kept me on the phone for 45 minutes trying to get me other services they provide, even though i kept saying i only want email.

Because an aol mailbox can harbor countless hours of entertaining mp3's. Just about every other provider doesn't offer the fabulous E-mail capacity of AOL, all for $4.95 a month....not bad.

for $4.95 you get 60 mb (i believe that's what they said) vs 2mb from most free, spam-filled providers.

though i'm annoyed that you have to download a ton of aol shit to your hd to just change your pw.

I once had a mailbox that had about 2 dozen shows, it is MUCH greater then 60 mb. As a matter of fact my mailbox RIGHT NOW has 30 days worth of old mail that carries all the show segments (sent mail and old). Oh, and i never had to download nothing to change my password, just go to aol.com it's swift and easy, hell I just did it last week.

Under the $4.95 plan, do you only get one screen name with email-only, or can you have more?

The reason I ask is, I have a few screen names, at least one of which I'd like to keep, but I'm fuckin tired of paying for AOL, and if you cancel your AOL account, you lose all your names (even on AIM). Right now I'm on the $14.95 BYOA plan, but I'd like to go even cheaper if possible, as I'm really only looking to pay in order to keep names.

Fucking AOL, I swear.
