Need Help from Computer Software Mavens!

i have in my possesion a package of Software CD's. I know they were never used, never installed, never felt the touch of a CD drive.

I get the feeling they are valuable, but they have just been taking up prescious desk space.

ANYONE KNOW IF THESE HAVE ANY VALUE?? or even what they are??

List price would be several thousand dollars (the words "server" and "developer" are the clues). Several hundred each for the XP stuff, but it's the comercial stuff that's big ticket.

Don't know what the street price would be (usually it's "free" as you found out).

You can look this stuff up, you know. I don't necessarily know what I'm talking about.

Seeing as how any one of those can easily be downloaded off of IRC, I say get what you can. There isn't realy any software that can't be found online :|

the xp disc might be worth something if you sold it with the valid license and can show proof of purchase that you originally own it...

most of the time you can't really resell software, as it is included with your computer with the disclaimer that its bundled with the machine and not for resale...

that's if you care about the legalities...

hell...put it up on ebay...you might get $20 for it...minus ebay fees...

JiZ is right, get what you can for them if you intend to sell them. Most of that stuff can be downloaded from various places online if you're crafy enough.
