This show has roped me in so far that I'm looking for a nice chip set and poker table for the new poker night with the cronies. It's a two hour show on the Travel Network, but there is a lesser, yet still good show on ESPN 2 called the World Series of Poker. Both shows are linked by players and the ultimate goal of winning the later tournament worth a lot of money.

I love watching these shows you can also play online for fun at www.partypoker.com.

Spoon if you want to pick up some chips don't go to your local game keeper store in the mall. They sell clay poker chips for 25.00 for a 100 chips. Go to ebay and type in clay poker chips. You can pick up a nice set for between $70-$100. Even the striped chips have come down in price and that even includes a case.

You are a richer man than I, 85.00 for 100 chips is to righ for my blood. I have almost 1,500 regular clay chips so that would be a lot of cake at .85 per chip.

If you got the money and want some cool chips go for it.

That was a killer hand with Luis and Jose. Jose was holding a pair of kings then Luis flops the 3 tens. Luis was waving his hands in the air with the smell of victory and smash here comes another king. What a frigging hand.

ive been spending my past few sundays watching these tournaments when they come on... its funny to see the guys who have been on tour for 30 years get knocked out by a nooby..the looks on their faces are always priceless

I like Gus Hansen's crazy style, and Nygen's (sp) goofy table manner, the fights bt Hellmuth and Grizzle (literally). I hate that sloppy chick who always loses in the end.

Jaf, that hand was great. I was glad to see that fat rich fuck out of the tourney so all his paid help would shut the fuck up! Plus, he didn't deserve to win the way he played. While the other guy played very well.
