August 16 at noon, in Haverstraw, NY, the Bad News Benningtons get their revenge on the Whatley Crue.

The location has no benches or BBQ pit, but we can bring chairs and BBQs with no problem.

Thanks to Doogie for securing our second field of the year.

Hey Funk, I owe you a bit of gratitude. You prepared me for goalie, which I played for the first time recently when our goalie was hurt. I played the second and third period and allowed only one goal on a power play. Unfortunately, we only scored once and lost overall. As for position, infield or outfield... where ever my capt. needs me. I perfer the infield middle, but love running in the outfield too.

I know it's been mentioned before, but how many NY/NJ people would REALLY be up for making a weekend trip down to DC for a game? Maybe in the early fall when it gets a little cooler? I used to play baseball/softball at the public fields down at The National Mall all the time. It's pretty cool knocking the ball around in the shadow of the Lincoln Memorial.

Anyway, it's not about who wins or loses, I'm glad we all had fun.

Now if we have a tie breaker game We will have SET RULES and an OFFICIAL REF even if we need to hire one.

I had fun, I hurt my back, but I'm doing better today. Mikey and East side were like fucking machines in the outfield, i couldnt buy a hit for my team!

Thanks for a fun after party Doogie, the tour of the fire house was really cool. The food was very good. The ribs were AMAZING!

Next time take a look at the field, dont just drive by and say hey we can play there. ;P There was more rocks and goose shit then there was grass and dirt!

To everyone that said thank you...I say your welcome. I had a hell of a lot of fun between playing and preparing. I would like to thank everyone that helped me make this a success and who helped me out with the cooking and the preparing...most especially Billy, Grim, Gwen, Leslie, Snoogans, Gary, Jon and Figment. Im sure that I am forgetting a few, but I extend my thanks to all...it was a great time and I look forward to doing it all again.
