The bring in Syxx, Scott Hall, Jerry Lynn, Justin Credible, Raven, Roaddogg, DLo and now Crash Holly. Some are good but some are not. And yet they try to push them as main eventers.
Doesn't this make the NWA look weak and in non hardcore fans eyes, don't they just see the NWA as WWE Lite. Not like a Bud light or a Corona Light but more like a Natural Light.

I am not saying they should go to the NWA. That's fine. But some of these guys should be pushed so hard as they are. No way in hell should Xpac have been pushed as hard as he was twice. Buff Bagwell should be jobless. The way they hyped up Crash Holly by saying him and Bob Holly beat Mankind and Rock for the tag titles and how many hard core titles he won. Didn't he win it like 5 times just on one PPV. When it was 24/7, there was a title change every week and sometimes 2 or 3 times every raw.

I was part of a Q&A on saturday night where Justin Credible said the TNA is being Run like WCW was near the end. He commented on the fact that he and Jerry Lynn get 8 minutes for a match with a weak ending, but Vince Russo gets 15 minutes to cut a promo that goes nowhere.
TNA may have 8 more months

Ah the island of misfit wrestlers. No one want's a D'lo in the box. Or a K-Kwick now that Cena has the rapping gimmick now.

Buff Bagwell should be jobless
Agreed. This moron had the very first all-WCW match in WWE (vs. Booker T) and was fired the same week (I think) for being a diva.
Where did he think he was going to go that was better? He should be forced to wrestle for the rest of his career as a mixed-tag with his Mother and forced to clean up the gym afterwards.

Jerry Lynn, Justin Credible, Raven
I don't think that they accomplished enough in WWE to be considered WWE castoffs. They are ECW all the way.

Look at what NWA did for D'Lo's career, who I always knew could be a main eventer, but for some reason, Vince never saw anything past his mid-card matches.

Although I hate to say it... I have to agree although I like Crash aka "Mad Mikey".
Also it is a good thing he doesn't use AJ's Style's Clash or better still... he attempted to use it and AJ comes down and takes him apart. He was once a tremendous athlete and in time he might gain that respect he had in the indy circuit.
The politics are alive and well in TNA which I thought wasn't going to be a factor. The shows are getting sloppier and TNA is becoming WWE Lite (with all these cutting promos and the like). The Truth is a cartoon character with Konnan and BG James. Where is The Truth's push? Lynn and Credible are not getting their much needed respect anymore. Iceberg should just be a hardcore wrestler! Abyss should return as Justice, the almost identical to Rhyno! Too much Russo (which I did not mind in the past few months). Skipper should get off the mic and just wrestle.
The only good things I've seen are the developments of Sabin, Kazarian, Sydel, Legend, AB Luke, Siaki overhaul, Gilberti with Simon/Swinger, return of Don Callis, Watts, removal of Goly from the mic for Scott Hudson, LolliPop in th cage, and Raven's new and improved Gathering.
I just don't know anymore.

I'm somewhere in the middle on this issue.
On the one hand, they have used some of the "cast-offs" well - namely D-Lo, Raven, & Killings (well.....up until he Dr0pped the title). On the other hand, some should never have been hired (Road Dogg, X-Pac).
Ultimately, though, some of the castoffs are good for name value, and the process of hiring them at all could set good precedent for NWA in the future as any potential WWE firees will seek out the company as a genuine alternative.

You know what... I detract my statement.
Mad Mikey's (aka Crash) promo last night was funny as hell and I think TNA is doing a tremendous job. He is far more entertaining here and can be a solid contributor to TNA as a whole. Fallen Angel takes out Jarrett and is getting that needed main event push. I have heard rumblings about some others becoming his followers. Gilberti has found his niche as a manager with Simon/Swinger and their theme is by far the best I've heard in TNA. Iceberg (fat slow hardcore wrestler) got booted by Don Callis last night. He will probably replace him with a new boydguard this week. Russo was away for a week on television. 3 Live Crew hits another solid promo. Scott Hudson is a mainstay backstage.
Concerning the title of the thread... it should not be considered the home of WWE castoffs but a second home for guys that couldn't get any time or respect in front of the camera.
It is an alternative for WWE workers and up and coming indy stars. Exactly like THE Se7en said.

They do have to make a living. Should they stop wrestling because they're not in the WWE anymore? No, depending on the wrestler. And who knows? Whoever didn't work out in one company may be able to find some success in another. It''s happened before.
