Yesterday while in south Jersey for a meeting, I stopped by the new casino in the marina area...the Borgata. Very Nice!

The coolest thing about it was the fact that it is a "coin-less" casino. That means that you never have to use any coins in playing the game machines. You put in your bill and play. If you cash out, a computerized receipt is issued which then could be used in another machine as cash or redeemed at a mechanized kiosk (without a teller) which will redeem the ticket for cash on the spot.

This was great because if you're playing slots or joker poker for any extended period of time...you fingers turn black from all the crap on the coins.

So, I dig this place.

I interviewed twice there to get a job in their marketing department...but they had filled all positions before my 2nd interview so it was kind of a waste of time

I was there 2 weeks ago. Very nice, more mature casino with a couple of nice bars and lounges. Plus they had some $5 black jack tables that were that way the whole day which was a plus.

Now only if I had won.

I was there last week, very elegant. I guess it is possible to build something nice for a billion dollars.

our bass player got a job their about a month back, maintenance i believe. He's trying to obtain some kind of license to obtain a new position and increase his salary. Something where he will actually go out on the floor and fix stuff.
we don't talk much, no particular reason, so i really don't have any more detail...

it's a nice enviorment(sp?) to work in, probably the only way you will make any money being there...
