For those of you who have yet to see this movie, hurry your asses over to Blockbuster. What a fucking kick ass film. Ten times more entertaining than the matrix and you can actually see blood! Fight scenes are way more bad ass and no virtual reality bullshit either.

here's the trailer (http://www.apple.com/trailers/miramax/equilibrium.html)

jeff, do you have a synopsis of this film. it's got some boondock saints style, but does it hold upthrough out the film? the story seems rehashed but visually looks sick. i never heard of this movie, what's up?

Well let me tell you right now...

lives up to that trailer and TOPS IT.

It's a re-hashing of Farenheit 451...the material is nothing new, but it is NOT force fed...in fact, its so fucking entertaining I actually found myself jumping around yelling COOL! COOL! COOL! after the first real gun battle. The fighting is a hell of a lot better than anything you will find in any Matrix movie or facsimile. There is a urgency to the character, a preciseness, and unlike Keanu Reeves, Christian Bale can act his fucking ass off!

I highly recommend it. I'm going to watch it a 2nd time for the fight scenes so I can pleasure myself to the action.

Kick.
Ass.
Flick.

i remember seeing the trailer for his movie last year. i only saw it a few times, cuz there wasn't much hype around the movie. i think critics were saying it was a copy off matrix or something, but after seeing the trailer, i can tell that the critics probably had their heads up their asses. it looks like theres more of a storyline and less predictable, constant action. action is good, but only when its necessary, not forced. the story has to be just as solid as the action scenes, and the movie looks like it does that.

next chance i get im gonna go rent the video.

I thought this was gonna be a thread about Sea Sickness. I was all ready to tell you about these cool wristbands my Mother got me with these half marble things in them that rest on your pressure points in your wrists, but forget it.

Go see your gaddamned movie! But don't come crawling to me when you're queasy on a flight!
