New Character suggestions.

OK. We all know that Ron and Fez have stopped doing their classic characters. And it sucks.

But I was thinking about it the other day. Would DC area listeners really find Iris funny? I mean she was one of my all time favorite characters, but I'm not sure the new fans would find an old Jewish woman from Brooklyn as funny as we did.

So instead of complaining, Death Metal Moe would like to do something about it!

Come on in and suggest a new character for the Ron and Fez show, and someone may actually get this to them one day.

I had the corny idea that they could go to the Lincoln Memorial and talk to old Honest Abe. It might be funny, and regional! Some DC or log cabin jokes.

Maybe they could make some gay jokes with Fez about the Washington monument? I don't know. I'm just throwing ideas at the wall, seeing what might stick.

Anyway, get your ass in here and SUGGEST!

How about Matty Maltia? Some wackadoo country bumpkin that talks about government conspiracies as his cousin yells at him to get off the phone and help raise their children? That sounds like a character they could get behind. Or does that guy already call in too?

it's some American Indian guy who constantly got the runs... and you always see him in the hallway or on the street moving at a good clip and he's usually got one hand on his ass... people think he's doing some kind of raindance or chanting to the god of corn...
he keeps saying "i need teepee, i need teepee" and people think he's homeless and are trying to find him a place to live but what he's really saying is "i need TP, i need TP"

they convince him to got to a psychiatrist and he tells him about the dream he keeps having about a couple teepees. So the psychiatrist recommends he calm down because he feels that the Indian is "two tents" (that's just a little joke)...

Inquiring Amish- a person from some tiny amish town sent out to the world to see how the world is like. They can do bits like their first time flying, driving a car, getting him/her a new clothes in the lastest up to date style, going to a 7-11, going to King's Dominion amusement park, then Ron and Fez could send him/her out to different countries to promote the Ron and Fez show or report what they see/sites visited.

The Rude Northerner- guy from the Northern states (a New Yawker) with an attitude problem/rude and believes that the North is better than the South. Callers can call to try convince him why the south/DC area is a great place to live but the dude is so rude that the callers will want to wring his neck. The Dude likes to party but the clubs there are not like the clubs in NY. He'll be the phone screener that answers the phone with, "What the F*** do you want".

Foreign exchange student- could be a boy or girl and just talk in their accent and compare america life to life back in homeland. "In my country..."

Anne Forgotten- a former friend/colleage of Ron and Fez from their early years when the show used to be called the "Ron, Anne, and Fez show". The reasons why she is no longer with the show could be for many reasons:
a) it was difficult for the people to pronounce the whole name of the show and in order to save money/make the show more tone friendly, Anne was Dr0pped from the program thus the "Ron and Fez show".
b) she never liked Ron and Fez or was very envious of them and back-stabbed them everytime she got to management, when Ron and Fez found out the evilness behind her smiley face/friendly exterior they had to give her the axe. That's why Ron and Fez hardly have any female component of the "on-air" show for fear of getting hurt/backstabbed again. After all, Anne they thought WAS a good friend/buddy.
c) she's the female version of "Staples" from the early years and when Ron and Fez told her that when she gets cleaned up she'll be part of the show again (or they will always be there for her). Took her several years to get sober or not, but as a result of her battle with disease, she holds Ron and Fez responsible for the predictment she's in, good or bad, is seeking the Boyz again.

Anne is still carrying a grudge against Ron and Fez for not making it, heck she was "Almost Famous", one of the movies that R&F refer to constantly. The song from the movie illicits anger from Anne cuz she believes that when R and F refer to the movie or play the song, they are making fun of her.
She'll start out small, attending events Ron and Fez are at (but in the background). She'll call the show up pretending to be a R&F fan but will say things in her conversation that only a person close to Ron and Fez will know about. Ex. "Remember the time in Florida when.....". She'll send them gifts or mementos from "their early days" which will set off the alarm in the boys that "this fan" knows them. Something like a "Stalker Patti" type but to the 1,000 degree. Ron and Fez could be like dectectives trying to figure out who she is.
