When Black Earl called during the movies that make you cry discussion with "Paths of Glory" I wanted to give the man $5. Great call, Earl.
Also, someone tell El Jefe that you can't lay a sacrifice bunt down with two outs.
Go Peacocks!

"Something For Joey", the story of John Capilletti and his little brother who died, is right up there with "Brian's Song" for the tear factor.

[color=purple]Wish I would've heard this bit last night. Did anybody say the end of "Scrooged?" Or even "Rudy," for that matter?
Although neither one can compare to when little Karen cries because Frosty has melted. And even though I know that Santa is right, and that Frosty is made of magic x-mas snow and will come back to life at the very 1st kiss of winter's wind, stilll.... seeing that little sweetie cry like that always

Yup, Rudy was mentioned. That definately goes on my list with Field of Dreams and Cinema Paradiso.
For some reason, those movies get to me but I hate those manipulative "someone died, get sad" movies like Dead Poets Society or Pay it Forward.
Go Peacocks!

In Apollo 13 when they lose contact with the capsule for however long it is and they don't know if they're gonna make it through or just burn up. That always gets me.

In "Deerhunter", just before Nicky kills himself, You can see that he recognizes Stephen but knows that it's too late. My eyes start leaking like a mother then.
Also, the last scene in the movie when their all in the bar after the funeral singing "God Bless America"!!!!!

Pay it forward with Jay Mohr, Kevin Spacey and the kid from the SIXTH SENSE.
You can't help but cry from it, the whole movie did nothing but make your emotions go heywire, espically near the end when the KID gets killed.
I tear when I watch INDEPENDENCE DAY too.
I cried during SLIVER but that was because it was such a bad movie I wanted my money back.

talking about Deer Hunter, the entire movie is a tear-jerker! The emotion they put out in every scene, whether it be any russian roulette scene, the part where deniro cant go back home, anything. That movie makes me want to light my local laundromat/beauty salon on fire!

Scarface
Johnee, Johnee, Johneeeeeee,
I can understand the others on your list but how do you justify "Scarface" as being a tear- jerker?????
