i just finished reading an article in Time magazine about sharks.

It seems that the media must have had a slow news week and figured they'd scare us (and drum up ratings) with shark attack stories.

Only about 80 shark attacks occur WORLDWIDE per annum. That's not comforting for the poeple bitten, but I'd say that if you don't count the hyperdermic needles, used condoms and industrial waste, it's still OK to go swimming.
