You must set the ad_network_ads.txt file to be writable (check file name as well).

I am being told that my sig pic is too large and I need to change it. I see other people who have moving pictures and scolling text and cartoons that have movement, animations and many colors. And yet, somehow a 2 colored black and tan image is larger than the site can support?? How is this possible? :quest:

Because the sigs are only supposed to be 300x100, and your's is bigger than that.

It's not file size, it's screen size. get with the program!

So what do I do? Clip the wings? Gimme a hand, I dont know how to modify the image...

paste it into photo shop and resize it so the height 300 and the width is corrosponding.

Well, I am unable to get the size down, so I have been warned that this is my final message. I tried several methods of getting the pic within the criteria and so for have been unsucsessful. JustJon has told me that it will no longer be tolerated and since I dont have a web hosting service, Im assuming this will be my last transmission. I may be able to read responses or edit the posts so they dont contain sig pics, but I guess my plane is going to be gone after today :(

NO WAY MAN! sr71's sig always made me laugh! I just loved the fact that he got away with having it too big for so long! Don't kick him off for that. There's plenty of other posters who deserve a sound web thrashing.

Several weeks ago, I received the same message from Jon, because my original picture was too large. Jon was very pleasant and even thanked me after I immediately resized my picture to fit within the appropriate guidleines. I also needed to replace it with a photo that did not feature Suzanne's extra large #2 erasers. But you can still enjoy them, as my original posts are still up in all their originalness.

I wouldnt mind if the new pic was routed to all my old posts as a default. Its just kind of hard to understand how I have seen massive size pics on here and even posted a few of my own, not realising how large they would appear till after it was in here. I understand the importance of maintaining a size limit, as it likely takes up valuable bandwidth. I appreciate all who helped me and the positive compliments!
