While collecting money for my 8th grade year book in 1973, drunk on Blackberry Brandy and having no intention of handing the money over to the school, my friend and I made about $15.00 each. At that time, that was alot of money.
Speaking of hang overs, a Sambuca hangover lasts for days and caused the worst case of vomiting I've ever had.

The first time I got drunk was 8th grade. We got one of the older guys to buy us some quarts of bud. I drank 2 of them and then we were hanging out on the basketball court and my best friends parents come walking up to the court. I had to go hide in the bushes till they left I would have gotten killed if I got caught.

Heckler remember california coolers. I used to love the orange ones. We would drink a 4 pack then 2 4 packs. Then they came out with the 2 liter bottles.

Jafter, I always hated the fruity coolers but quarts were very popular back then.
They call them 40's nowadays..and they are a bit bigger. I could probably drink 4 quarts of Bud on a good night, and boy, with shots of Jack or Southern Comfort...ralph time!

I had a stint in 5th or 6th grade where me, my younger brother (of a year), and the kid around the corner would drink the sambuca (and once that was done, any other liquor we could find in the cabinet) everyday after school, we wouldn't get bombed, but we would definatly get tipsy. After that brief period I didn't have another alcholic beverage till I was a senior in High School..College was bad (and not bad meaning bad, but bad meaning good), and now i hit the local bar 3 nights a week..I guess everything turns out for the best in the end...Thank you alcohol.

The first time had to be on the railroad tracks where all of my derelict friends and I used to hang out in our pre-driver's license days. One of our pals was a guy named "Bubba" (no kidding) who had a full beard since birth, I think. He'd walk down the tracks to the liquor store with a huge stack of singles that we'd all kicked in, and return with the ill-gotten booty. (Ill-gotten booty? If I was a rap artist, that would be the name of my first album)

I remember summer between 8th and 9th grade, every Friday night when I got my allowance, $5. Half would go to a six of Meisterbrau or Old Milwaukee, the other half on a pack of smokes. And to think, 10 years later, come Friday night, catch me at the bar drinking and smoking. Funny how life is cyclical like that. Hmmm . . .

Aaaaah, but the first time was a 40 of Heineken, buried in a snow bank for three days in an abandoned lot by my house. Me and my buddy snuck out of our houses at three in the morning to go drink it. By the time we got there the beer was all frozen and ice chippy, we were freezing, so cold in fact that we didn't want to take our gloves off and we had trouble holding on to the bottles. It was an absolutely horrible experience. But such was the draw of that glowing amber nectar, that she kept me coming back and eventually i forgave her for chilling me to the bone. Now she's the one I turn to to warm me on a cill winter's night

OMG I hear that....first time I ever got drunk was maybe junior year in high school. My friend had a party and we got wrecked on screwdrivers....My friend Joe and I got so drunk we both puked everywhere. My friends got scared I had alcohol poisoning or something and took me to the hospital.I think they may have taken Joe too, I can't recall... My mom and grandma had to come get me. I thank God everyday I was too drunk to remember how mad my mom must've been :p
Oddly enough screwdrivers don't make me sick anymore, I can still drink them if I want I just usually choose not to though, lol.

Some friends and I were on top of his apartment building on a friday with a few cases of the Bud nips(8oz)
We ran thru 3 or more. I seemed fine until I had to stand up to take a piss and get ready to leave. Thats when it all hit me, my knees buckled and almost fell.
Then the walk down the winding stairs made me feel ill and as soon as i stepped out on to the street, I hurled all over. I also hit 3 more lawns killing off sections of grass and flowers on the walk home

Summer after my junior year of high school. A buddy's family owned a condo in Ocean City MD, and he convinced his parents to let 7 dopey teens have it for a week. What a zoo.

The first and last time I had Busch beer, let me assure you. I had a mug with a bicycle bell on the handle that I would ring when it was empty, so they kept it full so I would stop making so much noise. Probably had about 10 beers, and apparently I wound up imitating Spider Man, trying to scale the outside of the building from the 5th-floor balcony. Lucky I'm not dead now.

OK, I know you guys might not believe me, but here goes...I swear to God this is a true story:
I am about 7 or 8 years old and my mom, my sister, and I took a trip down to Disney World with my best friend, his sister, and his mother. Well one night we all go out to eat at this retaurant called Jungle Jims. My mother orders some type of Oreo Cookie drink, and I order the same except without the alcohol. Well we get our drinks and I start gulfing mine down because it tastes just like Oreos. About 5 minutes into our drinks my mom looks at my best friends mom and says something like, "Gee, this drink doesn't taste like it has any alcohol in it". By that time my drink was gone, so they had nothing to compare it to and maybe see if the waitress had switched the drinks. About 10 minutes later I decided its a good idea to take my shirt off and throw napkins at people in the restaurant. After my mother kicks me out of the restaurant for my bad behavior, I decide to pound on the glass outside and make faces in the window while mooning the customers. As it turns out the waitress had swtiched our drinks and given the virgin drink to my mother and the alcohol one to me. That was the first time I was offically drunk.

I think the worst mistake that most kids make is mixing different kinds of booze. You can't switch from shots of rum to gin, to tequila and to a huge Long Island Iced Tea. Yes, you will puke.

When I was 18 me and my friends would go out after work to someone's house and have someone procure a case or two for us. We went out on my birthday to the beach in the shadow of a drawbridge (about 1-2am) and polished off 4 cases between 5 of us. Needless to say, it was a long walk home. Spent the next day in bed in as much silence and darkness as possible.

I was a sophomore in HS on the varsity football team. I went to a football kegger at somebody's house and drank till I passed out on his front lawn. All I remember is his Mom slapping me in the face to bring me back to consciousness.

I'm 16. On a Friday after school we start drinking Vodka and enough orange juice to give some color out of big-ass 7-11 collectors tumblers. I spend the next 6 hours telling my friend's girlfriend, (who was heinous and I hated her), that she had the greatest tits in the world. After a few hours sleep on the bathroom floor with my head on the nice cool porcelin, I get woke up at 6 am to go work for my buddy's dad the contractor. Of course it's 115 degrees in Arizona that day, and I'm digging ditches, still drunk and hungover, sweating out Vodka that makes me smell like a mildewy dish rag, (a very distinct smell that I can still remember).

That was the start of a beautiful friendship.

This wasnt my first time drinkin but this is the first time i got totally wasted. it was the summer before my junior year of high school and i just got back from a rock climbin trip and was stayin at a friends house cuz we were gonna go to new york (from DC) the next mornin. we were all hangin out in the basement drinkin beers when this dude came in with a big cup of whiskey and i just sucked it all down like a dumbass and ended up passin out while watchin Letterman. when it was time to wake up i couldnt be waked up but eventually i did while blacked out and finally came to in the car when we just got to new york. of course i had a killer hangover and threwup in central park. amazingly i didnt get busted even tho my friend's dad knew i was trashed.
