Saturday I went to the Orioles game against the Red Sox (maybe the only time all season Yankees fans are actually pulling for the O's) with my family when my 17 year old nephew, who lives down in Prince William County, told me he heard a radio show I might like - "The Ron and Fez Show."

I started laughing, and said that, yeah, I believe I've heard of them.

He said he heard it in his girlfriend's dad's car, and it was really funny. I forgot to find out if it was the 11am show, or the evening show, but regardless... there you are! Slowly it starts!

Maybe by the time school starts, ALL of the kewl kids will be listening!

(O's won by the way, 11-2, which was sweet because half the people there were Red Sox fans! - second largest crowd in Camden history!)

One good turn deserves another. The least you could do was give him the Ferrall link.
"Here ya go kid, WQAM.com, now run along."

One of my friend's relatives from Maryland came up yesterday to visit. I asked if they get WJFK were he lives and he stated "yeah". Then he proceeded to name the shows which included Ron and Fez. I stated "Ron and Fez?". He said "yeah, those guys are funny" and he brought up Fez's fiancee and other show stuff.

I couldn't help but keep the laughter to myself because when he came up here a couple of months ago, he didn't know who they were and the 1st time he ever heard the Ron and Fez show was when i played a CD of the show in my car on the way to play basketball the last time his family was up here.

Just goes to show you that RON and FEZ are catching on in the DC area.

The Ron and Fez show transcends all boundaries!

STOP! the Turf Wars.

had a similar experience the other day...my cousin and her new fiancee live in balt'more and he mentioned that he listens to talk radio while he drives during work and after....I asked who he listens to and he said D+M and there are these new guys on after them...I proceeded to tell him all about the show and even the messageboard...not sure if he still wants to marry into the family

I'm in Toms River and I get the show on my radio, yeah, my radio...I just type up the old wjfk radio station and there it is...god I love my radio

[color=purple]Wouldn't it be weird if he was talking about the same Ron & Fez show we all listen to?

Or am I just talking crazy??

<marquee><b>Now let's see what some of the critics are saying about GaryWyze... Ron Bennington, one 1/2 of the radio duo Ron & Fez: <u>"Gary Wyze is a funny, funny comedian"</u> ... IrishAlkey, one 1/2 of the drunken sex duo Alkey & Silera: <u>"Gary = God"</u> ... Rory Hampton, former radio producer and well know Aryan: "GaryWyze IS the Godfather!"</u> ... EastSideDave: <u>Forget Jesus, GaryWyze is my savior</u> ... Chairman Kaga, Chairman of the RF.NET Message Board: <u>"Gary is hysterical, absolutely hilarious, he truly is The Don</u> ... Winnie Copper, best female vocalist of the entire RF.NET Message Board: <u>Gary is a total genius, call me a Garyite, I am converting to Garyism."</u></b></marquee>

It would be weirder if mdr55's relative from Maryland turned out to be my nephew from Virginia.

Wait, is your nephew one of the cool kids?

Actually, that one is. His older and younger brothers, though, are another story. I did make the youner one listen to Friday's 11am show on the way to Ozzfest and he laughed. He had never heard anything like Ron describing snorting coke off of a dead hooker before.

It's good to be a positive influence on the youth today.

Wow! That's a pretty good impersination of me!

Actually, he was making a bee-line for the CD player when he got in to put in some of his death metal, so he did have to be told to stow it for awhile. Then, when he wasn't looking, I slipped in "Hammell on Trial," and listened to that after R&F.
