Women In Finance

Do you feel more confidant in taking financial advice from a man? The reason I ask this is that I've heard from guys on several occasions to never get financial advice from a woman, that the best financial advisors are men. I don't know if that's just old world thinking or if it's a common thing. Personally I don't have a preference, so long as the advice that is given is good. This kind of advice can be whether it's for savings, or mutual funds, investing, stocks, bonds, etc, I'm not talking about bank tellers, but rather those who work in banks and financial institutions. I'm curious because it seems to be a common thought among some, but it doesn't really matter to me.

I'm glad to know though that others don't understand it either though. I have no problems going to a woman for advice, especially if she's a hottie. :-P

One of my old jobs was to maintain the A/P and A/R ledgers and checkbooks for a small corporation. I was never off - not even by $.01. I also balace two personal check books and successfully play the stock market.
