Last night I was in Baltimore, and on the way home I tuned into "Live 105" to see who they had on in the evenings - and it was Tom Lickass!
Ugggh!
Maybe the worst, most painful thing I've ever heard. Reminded me of why I hate LA radio. And while I've never been an O&A fan, it is pretty ballsy that he gets away with his "Flashing Friday," or whatever he calls his "WOW" rip-off.
It just seems obvious to me that since DC and Baltimore are so close, then why not adopt the same line-up on the two sister stations? Those guys in Baltimore between Stern and Don and Mike are pretty good, and could work just as well between them down here, and Ron and Fez could rule Baltimore.
I am through wishing the Junkies would come back from HFS; let them stew there. Plus, if it puts Bill O'Reilly and Tom Lykess out on their asses, then all the better!
Stern
Bill and Thrill
Don and Mike
Ron and Fez
(Oh...those of you who hate the DC callers, wait until you hear the ones from Baltimore, hon!)
I think one road to get R&F back on in NY is through Baltimore. I am no longer convinced that they need to ride anyone elses coattails for syndication, but (if getting back on in New York is a goal of theirs) if they could get just one more big market into their cap, then maybe...it wouldn't hurt.
