the "tipping" thread, dreamweave, and a recent trip to the john got me thinking...

i have been a bit stressed lately, i mean i'm getting a daily "cornholing" sort of speak by a bunch of squirrels, the central-air went out on me, i've been drinking too much coffee, and my best friend the Weathercutioner started hanging out with the wrong 'cloud', and my stomach's been a little "burny" and upset for the past few days.
One thing i noticed today is that when i did a poop it seemed to have a strong hint of stomach acid, like you smell when you throw up.

All kidding aside, is this possible? When you get stressed does your stomach release more acid and does it get digested with the solids?

Please describe the bowel movement more. Is it hard or mushy? Is is ribbon like? Is it tenesmus? I leave off 5 movements in my toilet a day so I've seen/smelled it all. My advice is to break it up with the toilet brush and take a picture so our team of experts can peruse your feces.

I often produce a nice colorfull turd I refer to as "Mr. Stripey."
Years ago I picked up on the habit of eating one food item at a time. Rather than eating a bite of beans,a bite of corn, then a bite of steak, for example; now I'll eat all the steak, then all the corn, then all the beans, etc.This baby comes out looking like a barber pole.

Meat always first,too. I want all the fiber and stuff (oops, almost said "shit"!) coming behind the meat to help sweep along any remnants, and salad always last for the same reason, but that's just me.

Stress will always affect you physically, especially in was that will get you out of stressfull situations! When we get upset, and the socially acceptible way to escape is to have "stomach problems or diareah", which everyone can deal with and understand, results in "escape" from the stressor, then it will be utilised by the unconscious mind. Butterflys in the stomach's of actors, irritable bowl syndrome among the rest of us and even back pain in DjEvilEds case create the opportunity to get out of a stressful encounter (See Dr John Sarno's books). The unconscious mind has a powerful effect on the conscious mind(& therefore Body)and your life will become ruined if you allow these controls to begin to dictate how you function. My advice is to you is to bull through it and never allow it to control you, because surely not doing so will result in being controlled by your own fears and apprehensions, and youll be miserable.

The worst turd for me is the one I call "The Bumper Jack".
It feels like the "I Don't Remember Swallowing A Football"- turd, only it has the added dimension of ridiculous length.
This baby is impossible to break off in mid pump, oh no, once started, you're into it 'til the bitter end.
It gets it's name, because just like the old fashioned bumper jacks, when that rascal hits the bottom of the bowl, it'll lift you right up in the air.
When you've finally got it out, it leaves your asshole gasping for breath.
It will take several flushes to get rid of.
My last one got stuck in the toilet and was a-poking up out of the water like an artillery piece.

sometimes after a hard night of drinking...when i have the foamy beer shits (here comes the shocker) i have what i think are tiny bits of blood in them, almost mixed in like pimento loaf. is this common? its been happening off and on for years now, and i'm not dead.... just curious.
