I know have been asking me for the directions to the field for the second game so without further adieu':

From the NJ Turnpike (Northbound naturally since Rockland is North of Jersey)- Take the turnpike north, merge onto lane that states GWB. Make sure you use the 'local' lane and not 'express'. Take exit 72 (Ft. Lee/Palisades Interstate Parkway), after the exit make a left at the light. Go through 4 traffic lights till you merge onto PIP North. Follow directions at bottom in italics about PIP...

From the Garden State Parkway- Take GSP North till the end. You will then have to merge onto the New York State Thruway (87/287) North or South. Merge onto Southbound lane follow Thruway till Exit 13N. See directions at bottom in italics about PIP...

From NYC via the George Washington Bridge- Cross over GWB, take exit for PIP North. See directions below in italics about PIP...

From Long Island via the Whitestone Bridge- Take Whitestone Bridge to Hutchinson River Parkway. Follow the Hutch North until you reach exit for "Cross County Parkway West". Get off at that exit and follow the Cross County till you see the signs for NYS Thruway North (I believe exit 4N). Follow NYSThruway across the TZ Bridge, and get off at exit 13N. See directions at bottom in italics about PIP...

From LI via Throgs Neck- Cross the Throgs Neck and follow signs for NYS Thruway. Follow Thruway across TZ Bridge and get off at exit 13N. See directions at bottom in italics about PIP...

From Connecticut- Take 287 Westbound to the TZ Bridge, get off at exit 13N. Follow directions below in italics about PIP...

Directions to the field from the Palisades Interstate Parkway (PIP)- Follow the Plalisades northbound all the way to exit 13. The sign will say "Haverstraw/Suffern". Get off at exit 13, staying in the left (The right goes into the heart of Haverstraw). At the stop sign make a left, there will be a car wash across the street from the stop sign. Go up "Thiells-Mt Ivy Road" for about 2-3 miles until you see the entrance to a golf course (Phillip J Rotella GC) on the left hand side. The field entrance is 1/8 mile after the GC entrance on the right hand side.

The directions are as straightforward as I can make them, any questions IM me at 'Doogie76' or PM me here. Hope to see you all there... Also there is an after party that is open to everyone so leave a lil room in the bellies.

Frenchie, the only train line that I know of that runs semi-locally is to Suffern, which would mean you would still have to catch a ride/bus to the field from there...I will find out the schedule for that within 24 hours and post that info here

Is there Ferry service to Haverstraw from Westchester on weekends? If so Metro North from Grand Central. An alternative is to get off at Tarrytown and take a bus.

There is a Red and Tan Lines bus that let's off in Mount Ivy, almost within walking distance to the field, as well.

If anyone is coming to the game, could give me a lift. I'll paid for the gas. If not does anyone have a link or number to a bus service that goes up there. After this blackout I am sure the schedule is changed.
