Drinking alcohol while taking valium, zanax, klonopin IS a death wish.

Mixing the mentioned drugs with alcohol has been a "partying" method that I've personally seen practiced for years. Hell, I have even had some good times doing it as well.

The most dangerous thing to mix with a sedative (alcohol) is another sedative or "downer". The combination can lead to extreme depression of the Central Nervous System and be fatal. When combined with alcohol these drugs have a synergistic effect, meaning that the combined depression of the CNS is greater than the sum of the depression caused by alcohol and that of the sedative. This effect can be expressed with the equation 1+1=3 (the combined effect is more intense than the separate effects combined).

Jeffrey "Cale" Gormley died last month after a night of drinking beer and downing the anti-anxiety prescription drug Xanax at a friend's house near Rogersville, authorities said.

The combination of alcohol and drugs slowed the teenager's breathing to the point that he was unable to get sufficient oxygen into his blood, causing asphyxiation, an autopsy showed.

Barbara Grimes, 49, of Rogersville, was charged with second-degree murder and child endangerment in the alcohol-overdose death of 16-year-old Cale Gormley in February.

Three other adults were also charged. Nathan Smith, 18, faces first-degree involuntary manslaughter charges for providing Gormley with the alcohol that led to his death. Mitchell Choi, 20, was charged with drug distribution for selling the prescription drug Xanax to Gormley, and Gary Nettell was charged with selling Xanax to Choi.

from a friend. i will note to all i smoked 3 spliffs after the 2 xanex, had 4 beers and then went to sleep around 4 am, woke up at 2 and was still fucked up. good times!!!

Where are you getting your information? Everybody's metabolism is different. What you can tolerate may kill me and vice versa. It IS a proven fact that mixing drugs and alcohol can be a fatal combination. Also, don't forget, when you get high, you're inhibitions and judgement are greatly degraded and you may think that you can safely do more of whatever substance you are ingesting- do too much and you die...that simple!!!!!!

2mg xanax and 4-5 beers is the best combination. Speaking from a year and a half of experience, this is one of the most relaxing experiences ever, as long as you don't overdo it. Note, on two occasions I have blacked out. By that I mean I don't remember what the hell happened the night before. However, that was with 3mg xanax and about 6-7 beers within about an hour's span. I have learned my lesson since then, and stick to just 2 xanax and drink my beers slowly. If you haven't tried this, I highly recommend it, it enhances the effects of alcohol greatly and makes you feel incredibly relaxed and at ease with the world.

It all depends on how much and for how long.

The problem I have is that, yes, it's a risk, but in this day and age, nobody wants to take responsibility for the risk after it becomes a reality. At this point, people start crying "I didn't know" or "nobody told me", and most importantly, "somebody needs to pay".

exactly, i didnt post this under the thought it wasnt dangerous. come to new jersey and get in a car, and its fucking dangerous. i know its a risky proposition, i also know the consequences, that limits and other such things i weighed before deciding to do what i did, knowing that if i still fucked something up id have no one to blame but myself and that it was on my fuckin shoulders to handle it
