You must set the ad_network_ads.txt file to be writable (check file name as well).

I know this isnt a RF topic but I know some here listen to WFAN. Past two nights there has been no audio at 660 during the overnight hours. Anyone know what the deal is? This sux! Thanks guys...

Joe B came on at 5 this morning and said the transmiter is being worked on. Believe it or not, they just let the station go off the air for 5 hours. He also said theres a chance it could happen again tonight so ........

I was looking all over for Joey B too! This has happened a handful of times in the last couple of years (always during the overnight).

Ohhhhhhh...... I was getting worried for a while. Man that sucks.... and damn the ESPN radio blow. It just seems so structured and all these voices going in and out.....not a nice community feel like Joe B. Love that guy....

Thanks for the info guys...Ive been away at college for the past 4 years so I guess I havent caught a transmitter night yet. Figured it was a broad problem as 880 was out last night as well...

Well maybe this can hold us over until they get this shit fixed....

Yeah, both WFAN and WCBS have been going off
the air shortly after midnight for transmitter maintenance, they are
both on the same "stick".

Yep. I remember a couple of years ago when Jody Mac did the Late night/early morning shift they did transmitter matentince, so I figured that's what it was, and I told my brother that's what is was. Although, this was very long, last time they estimated it to take only an hour. Unfortunatly, I was forced to listen to 1010 WINS. ahhh!!!

What a shithole organazation they have. First they deliberatly go off for 10 hours of overnight time, now they still cant even broadcast form the studio Yesterday they were replaced with CBS untill 5:30 this morning, where they had to broadcast from some back up system i believe outside connecticut. Then Jodie Mac comes on from Philly where he lives, followed by Russo in the same Connecticut location. Now I turn it on and there off the air and replaced by what sounds like heavy machinery!!!! Followed by dead air and an annoying buzzing sound. What a fucking joke!!!

What the fuck is this disaster!! they started playing music inturupted by "this is David Weathers and youre listening to Mets Baseball on sports radio etc" then a new song and " This is Ty Winnegton, and youre listening to..." Now some clown trying to talk and being inturupted by someone trying to tlak off mic. What a disaster!

Ditto. I am VERY dissapointed, this is a terrible job by WFAN. I was really looking forward to Joe Beningo last night as a break from the non stop barrage of blackout coverage. Even if the blackout was the night's topic I'm sure we would have much rather spent that time with the over night crew.

How about this one.....last night around 8 O'clock I put on 660 to see what was on and I heard Charlie Steiner and John Sterling doing the play by play for the Yankee game! WTF?!?!?!?!
