wait, only 2-3 of those 6 can actually sing!

Rapping ain't easy but it aint singing either!

I voted for M&M because I felt he was the best balance of music and acting talent. The other seemed to be better at music (or just totally sucked at both)

I did like J.Lo in "Out of Sight" but I don't think she has any talent in music.

Harry Connick Jr. is a decent actor.

harry connick is a great actor and musician. i cant believe he and elvis were left off. i voted for LL cause on that list, he is the one who has had realistically the best careers overall in both. he has done a few pretty good movies, any given sunday is good, he tried TV, and he was a huge rapper. Im just mad that the all time best of both isnt on the list. how do you forget eddie murphy.....

Dwight Yoakam was outstanding in "Sling Blade," and damn good in "The Minus Man" and "Panic Room." But I can't speak to his music because, (sorry Aggie), to me country music is like the sound of your child getting run over by a car.

Also Jewell did a nice acting job in "Ride With the Devil."

David Bowie was an eerily good Andy Warhol in "Basquiat," and I remember a few other good roles.

I liked Sting in "Quadraphenia" - the badass with the trickest Vespa in England and it turns out he's a bellhop!! Scandalous!

I hate country music but I have to give credit to the movie "Coal Miner's Daughter" in this thread. Sissy Spacek and Beverly D'Angelo did a very good job singing all the Loretta Lynn and Pasty Cline songs while Levon Helm (from The Band) played Loretta Lynn's father -- and sang a kick-ass "Blue Moon of Kentucky".
