when you take a nap, do you use the bed, couch, or chair?

Bed.
Back when I worked in a cubicle, I did find it nice to take naps at my desk while on the phones. I was really good at taking calls while half asleep.

For the most part I take naps on the couch, and sometimes in bed.
I've noticed if you take a nap for any longer than 2 hours you end up feeling like shit and worse than when you went to sleep. 45 minutes around 5 pm is most effective.

feel the same way... i just took a little nap before i posted this thread. it was about 45min and it really did the trick...
sometimes even a 10min nap can feel like you've slept all night...

What I wanna know is... after waking up from a nap, as hot as it might be indoors and outdoors, why do I wake up like there's a blizzard in my room? brrrr
P.S. To answer your question, "bed"
and sometimes my desk at work

Bed always, unless I fall asleep when I'm not expecting to. Then it's on the couch, on the rug, or behind the wheel of a car.

NAPS ROCK!!!
I like to sleep in my bed. The best time for a nap? Mid-afternoon while watching stupid TV.

or behind the wheel of a car.
this reminded me of a funny thing David Johanssen said in the movie The Deli... went something like this:
" i want to die in my sleep like my dad, not screaming and clawing at the window like the passengers in his bus"
sick but it's got it's good parts...

My naps feel like they're long, but in reality they are only 10-20 minutes. I have taken a nap during Stern's commercial brakes, and didn't miss anytihng

Couch.
But the best naps are in a screened-in porch down the shore, on a hammock, with a light breeze cooling you off.
Now I'm tired.

During the summer some kids are going to the pool, or hanging out at the movies...
Im pulling the 6.30am-10.30am sleeping shift with a 1pm-4pm nap....really gets the job done.

wtf? I go 5am-1pm without a nap, especially since I spend most of the afternoon with my friends.
