I just checked my e-mail and got that letter.
So is this a good thing or bad thing? I have no idea why I got this (there were like 15 general reasons but not specific to case)
How come it wasn't placed in my inbox as opposed to my e-mail address?
Thanks.

Why do people say "your" when they mean "you're"? Life is not so casual that you can bandie about as some illiterate doofus. Why belittle yourself with poor language usage. As the advertisement says, people do judge you by the words you use. Is it somehow kewl to say "your", is it emboldening, is it husky, is it brazen, is it intentional, is it Great, is it a little joke, is it Fancy and Fun. Seek the answer.

Why do people say "your" when they mean "you're"
i think itll be hard to get everyone on the board to type in proper english. i think the reason not many do, inculding myself, its cause it takes to long. if i added every apostophy or other puncuation, it would talk alot longer to type, and since no mods give out anything for best english, i never really tried to be proper. though i can see how it can be slightly annoying to read without puncuation and have to try to know how things are said

I think it's "kewl" that "your" a complete tool.

It must be as "kewl" as making interrogative statements without using question marks.

What do you mean. Is that supposed to be sarcastic.
The point is, kewl or not, using "your" when you mean "you're" is not your average run-of-the-mill spelling error. It is a usage error, far more serious. This is in no way a judgement of character, or "spelling", or even punctuation, just a point about correct word usage.
I am just pointing out a mistake in the word, it was not intended to disparage or besmirch the person who just used it, I specifically made my comment generally to the public at large, it was not directed as a perceived "attack" at any individual or entity.

Kinda. I just found it funny that while you were pointing out a grammatical error in another post, your own post was filled with multiple errors.

Multiple errors. I don't think so. Kewl is a different connotation than cool, it imparts a more rad inflection.
But enough of that. You say multiple errors.
#1 I rarely have grammar or usage problems
#2 A typo is not what we are talking about here, pal. I am talking about "you're" vs. "your".

Everyone knows that the absence of a question mark makes a question much more direct, but less "serious" or hard-toned. Especially when a period is used to punctuate the end of a sentence. It makes it less confrontational and more rhetorical, although it is not rhetorical enough that no answer is expected, because an answer is always expected.
For example:
#1 Do you have balls?
#2 Do you have balls.
See what I mean.

[color=purple]Actually, what you should be talking about is your little habit of putting punctuation on the outside of quotation marks.
Or do also you have some little rule to explain away that gaffe?
Hey, look, I started a sentence with a preposition. I'm crazy like that!
<marquee><b>Now, let's see what some of the critics are saying about GaryWyze... Ron Bennington, one 1/2 of the radio duo Ron & Fez, <u>"Gary Wyze is a funny, funny comedian"</u> ... IrishAlkey, one 1/2 of the drunken sex duo Alkey & Silera: <u>"Gary = God"</u> ... Rory Hampton, former radio producer and well know Aryan: <u>"GaryWyze IS the Godfather!"</u> ... Chairman Kaga, Chairman of the RF.NET Message Board: <u>"Gary is hysterical, absolutely hilarious, he truly is The Don</u> ... EastSideDave: <u>"Forget Jesus, GaryWyze is my Savior"</u> ... Winnie Copper, best female vocalist of the entire RF.NET Message Board: <u>Gary is a total genius, call me a Garyite, I am converting to Garyism"</u></b></marquee>

#1 Do you have balls?
#2 Do you have balls.
i understood the rhetorical thing when it was said in bunny's post, but the example reconfused me.
if i read that either way, i would take it the same, just that the second time, you accidently put a period, and all i would still say is yes to both
