Both avatars and sigs need to be hosted on a website before they can be seen on the board.

Avatars you email the mods about changing and sigs you either make yourself or get someone to make it for you. There's lots of people on the board who make them.

For the avatars - you need to see a mod about having it added.

For the sig you can add it yourself. Just use the standard html code for adding an image into the signature area of preferences. In the code include a hyperlink to where the image is.
