Just came back home. Went to the West Point parade to hang with my nephew and his family then drove to South Jersey for a Welcome Home Heroes party for my cousin who just came back from Iraq. He's leaving to go back to California on Tuesday. Nice to see him again and everyone else.

I went to the Phillies game yesterday with Amy and Fluff, it was easily one of the best games I've ever been to. It was a great time. I would have loved to have gone to the softball game if it was on another date, I'm sure it was a great time as well, next time.

Jon was right, Funk's daughter was 2 for 2.

Grim was right, Funk's daughter helped manufacture the eventual winning run for Ron's team after a between inning trade.

However, she got hit by a live ball for our team after her hit and now Funk is on my hitlist!! My sac fly in the 7th only brought us within one run with 2 outs. My revenge came later at the pizza shop, the horrors of which I can't explain. AHHHAHAHAH!

And I learned not to hit the ball away from Dave or Grim, but right at them. They seem to thrive on the challenge of the hard play, yet muff those balls hit right to them. As for Mikey, just don't hit it in his zip code and your cool. As for my teammate Hosp, what an attempt with the swan dive into the swamp! Nice bail, chummmp!!

The true mvp for me was Funk's other daughter who didn't switch sides mid game and gave me some long needed candy cigs! Sorry kid, but your dad will payyyyy!!!
