Hey, you can't beat '77 Pistols.

But they shot everything out the window with that AWFUL "Filthy Lucre" tour. They killed themselves dead. It's so far from "originality" at this point that originality has moved to another country to escape the shame. This is no better than those fucking fake Beach Boy tours that come through every couple of years.

I was 7 in 77, so I missed that tour.
I refused them in 96 - I have a problem paying 40 dollars to see a band from 3 hundred yards away & watching them on a big screen.
This version of the pist0ls IS the original line up.
Before that over rated junky Sid fucked everything up.
John Lydon is still fun. Of course it's all about money now. Who cares tho. THEY SHOULD be all about money. conSIDering EVERYONE else in ALT/modern music has at one point or another ripped off the pistols. ( or tried to)
If you ask me punk rock died in the mid 80's.
All the old washed up punkers are cashing in now.
The EXPLOITED is playing at jax next week.

A great movie by Julien Temple is The Filth and The Fury a cool flick about the real pistols. Not that fake gary oldman shit. Sid & Nancy was a joke.
Nevermind the bollocks- Great album. No other band has done more with less .... ok except nirvana.
I still say check the show out...

i saw them at jones beach last week. it was a decent show.. johnny rotten forgets the words to god save the queen... my friend thinks it was planned.. i dont know.. it was historic for me but i think the murphy's put on a better show.
