She's in NY right now trying out for AI. One more cut and she's in front of Simon. Very exciting stuff!

I hope she makes it...my sister needs a career in showbiz...its either that become a hairdresser/flight attendant...

she's not that bright you see....

For real? Congrats to her. I'm (sadly) a loyal viewer of the show and can't wait for the next season. I can't imagine having to perform for Simon.

My cousin in California made it past the 1st round but didn't get past the 2nd round. I know this because her mother told us, but she's embarassed that she didn't make it further that she doesn't mention to anyone that she tried out for it.

[color=purple]I just heard on the radio about the auditions today. I'll admit that part of me is tempted to give it a shot, but I'm sure it's a madhouse down there and the line is probably to Brooklyn at this point. Besides, I wouldn't mind being a hairdresser/flight atendant (although I don't think they allow scissors on planes these days).

I don't like American Idol (however I do like to watch a few minutes of the first couple shows when they show the really bad people sing and get upset when they're laughed at)
