Are theme parks getting too over Packed??

When i went to 6 flags it took of an hour and 30 min. just to get on the log flume!!!!! and that is just a regular ride!!!

I grew up going to Great Adventure and Action Park AT LEAST once every season. Year by year the lines would get bigger and bigger hence draining the fun from a once FABULOUS time. The result, I haven't been to Great Adventure or any theme parks for that matter since 1995 and I don't plan on in the future. Based SOLELY on the lines. I always had an interesting thought and am curious to see what the rest of you might think. Set aside a $elect FEW days of a 6 flags season and charge one inflated price, for argument's sake let's double the admission fee. Why? There is a demographic of people including myself that would GLADLY pay a large fee if it means getting a fun, worth wild product. What the admission fee would weed out in customers the DOUBLED admission price would make up for in profit.

i have felt that the parks were overpacked for 20 years now...

anything over 30min for a 1min or less ride is too much in my book, and in my little world...

yea the best time to go is in may when school is still in session, take a day of from work show up on like a wednesday. the lines ares till a bitch but they are soo much better than what they are this time of year.

i just don't find theme parks fun anymore. they used to be, but now its just lost all the energy to people coming on bus trips and kindergarteners running ramping, Dr0pping ice cream, screaming and yelling babies, and the occassional group of dipshits whose soul purpose is to ruin everyone else's day.

and yes, they are overpacked. when there is a 50 foot line to one of the MANY operating bathrooms in the park, you know that there are just too many people visiting at once.

Kings Dominion is about equal. 30-90 min line for the big attractions, but that means you can ride the wooden roller coasters like 10 times in a row without getting up from your seat
