As for her amnesia - before any of you start developing any sort of theory that it's all some sort of elaborate ruse on her part, please remember that she regardless of the details of her rescue, she WAS injured quite severely in a traumatic incident, thus significantly increasing the chances of her having medical or psychologically related amnesia.

I feel bad for her. She's little more than a kid, who joined the army only because of the educational benefits it would provide her, and due to circumstances that were far beyond her control, she was elevated, briefly, to "national darling" status and then rather harshly dethroned from that position when discrepancies in the details of her rescue - again, beyond her control - appeared.

None of it was her fault, of course, she just wound up with the raw end of the deal. I hope she does get some sort of book or movie deal, though, because frankly there are many sad excuses for human beings who get them all the time, and it'd be nice to see someone truly heroic get their reward.

To answer the question posed by this thread, though: yes, I would probably buy that Playboy.
