What Martial Arts do you do?

Besides Terror, does anyone else do any martial arts? This includes boxing and wrestling.

I've done some traditional martial arts (waste of time) and kickboxing, wrestling and submissions. I've just started training with a pure mixed martial arts fighter.

I've studied Okinawan Goju, southern Hung Ga, a little Northern Shaolin and Tai Chi, to boot.

I've also done a bit of boxing and I wrestled my freshman year of High School.

It's been years since I've trained, but I'd love to start again.

Dr0p as much body fat i can, then start Dr0pping muscle... then from scratch dinosaur train(it is a style of weight lifting where you bulk lift and it is just PURE strength. you arent going to get a look for your body, your muscles are still very loose... you just become extremely strong, extremely fast).

and i still want to know why no one will want to take me on when ron and fez do their 1st DC night of fights.

hey TLM... we should talk to them and see if we can(with releases and contracts and everything signed) see if we can do the first "Ron & Fez Mixed Martial Arts/No Holds Barred fight".

We can open people's eyes... but also, turn people away(the grappling aspect). plus, i do not know how good of shape you are in... but i havent roled in god knows how long.

To answer TLM's question, I found the Hung Ga style of Kung Fu to be the most effective for combat you'd most likely encounter on the street or in a "bar room brawl" type situation. It's a pretty no-nonsense style; very linear and favoring low kicks and straight finger jabs or punches.

The style I enjoyed the most, however, was Tai Chi, which really surprised me. I used to leave the classes feeling like I was floating on a cloud. While it might not be the most "martial" of the arts, it was incredibly invigorating and relaxing at the same time. It's very difficult to put into words, but it's an incredibly interesting style and one I'd like to pursue further.
