I ask this because I got buzzed in France off a glass of champaigne that I chugged..you guys are gonna call me pussy nonstop now... it was my first alcoholic beverage after all....anyway I just wanted to know what determines a person's alcohol tolerance?

WOW... you went to France? When did this happen? You came back? When did this happen?

Anyway, it's how much alcohol you can down without getting drunk, I suppose. And since your so young, it's less. And you'd have to drink about 4 of the same size glasses of beer to get that same "buzz". Beer > Wine > Liquor in order of alchohol per oz. least to most.

What determines a person's alcohol tolerance?

Have someone watch you while you're drinking. When you pass out, you know how much alcohol you can tolerate. Simple as that.
