Can seeing eye dogs crap while on duty?

If a seeing eye dog has to relieve themselves while they're working, what do they do? Just go as they walk?

They're probably trained to alert the person that they have to go, and direct the person to the spot where the "log" was Dr0pped.

It would be pretty obvious to the person if the dog is trying to go while its walking, since the speed its going would slow down and the blind person could tell when the dog is hopping on three legs or trying to drag its ass across the ground.

Although maybe they're potty trained to go when its appropriate.

My sister, who is blind, gives her dog "comfort breaks". She knows her dog well enough to know when he has to go and then she takes his guide harness off (so he knows he's not "working") and puts on his regular leash and then he Dr0ps mud. Occasionaly, if she forgets, he'll just start whining to let her know!!
