Last night Fez was sounding a little low; evedently things got a little shitty at the station when they came back, and they felt beaten down - Ron even said at one point how Cameron doesn't like the show.

In the 10pm hour they seemed in better spirits, but Ron did put out a plea to Fez to help him find his smile again.

Can anyone help?!

I understrood 100%, loser - in fact, everyone got it the first post you made. Speaking for myself, though, I just didn't care.

Your 70 some odd, obsessive posts about someone who evedently schooled you at one time didn't bring anything to help Ron and Fez or advance their success in DC. I could give a rat's ass about El Jefe, J-Dubs and the rest - I believe I have clocked in a total of 10 minutes over all of these months listening to "THE HIDEOUT!"

I am all about getting new people to listen to Ron and Fez - and here's the point you don't get - once they have success, then they will be able to pick and choose who they wish, and do with them how they wish.

Until then, they seem to have a pretty good idea how to make the new guys fit their show.

You'll be happy to know that Jefe will soon be off the Ron and Fez show. Like I've said, THEY ARE TEMPORARY. They are working without overtime or extra money to help the show.

You might not like them, but they are helping. Jefe even told me Saturday his run is almost over. He doesn't want to be a producer.

Well said, this statement is the bottom line.

Off the topic, I personally thought Tuesday and Wednesday night's shows were very good. I'm also happy to see a drastic decline in the Jefe crew's participation in the show. I'm not anti "El Jefe", I just don't want them involved in the "Ron and Fez" show. The "Hideout" may be a fine show but I just know they don't work well at all in the R & F show. J Dubbs seems to work fine though while he is solo and playing a smaller role than usual. I hope these kind of shows continue.

Another reason for me not to be bashing the hideout...

* Ron and Fez doing a full mid-day show would be considered a promotion from the evening show;

* The station appears to be interested in exposing them to a mid-day audience;

* If WJFK's braintrust need to make a decision of what to put on from 11-3, hopefully there will be evedence that Ron and Fez can succeed there;

* They will be more likely to move Ron and Fez to the mid-day spot IF they feel they already have a show in the farm league that can step up and do the 7-11 show, trying to recreate the magic they had with the junks.

* If they feel the Hideout (or the Phenoms) work there, then that will help the move.

* If El Jefe does get the call up to do a 7-11pm show, odds are good he and his crew will be dumped from Ron and Fez.

There...!

The junks aren't going to come back, which is fine with me; WJFK seems reluctant to bring in another syndicated show for the evening; however, there is going to be competition for the 11am show from shows like "Bill and Thrill" in Baltimore, or maybe some other "big" name like Bill O'Reilly.

Now...back to making Fez smile...I'm thinking of ordering up a Carvelle Icecream cake to the station, done up in the shape of the Batman villian, The Riddler, and have it delivered by a swarthy Cuban boy wearing nothing but a jock-strap and a Tampa Bay Bucs cap.

Think that will work?
