question about a simpsons episode

by far, one of my most favorite episodes is when they go to New York.

ever since september 11th, i havent seen that episode on(because they featured the towers and thats where homers car was parked between and showing rude people from each tower).

but my question is... WHAT season was that... and has anyone seen it on TV since 9/11? or have you heard about not showing it on tv for that reason?

i really would hate it if they did because by far... that is one of the best episodes...

Season 9 (1997): "The City of New York vs. Homer Simpson".

They didn't air it for a while after 9/11 but I've seen it a couple of times.

damn... so i have to wait till the 9th season comes out on dvd to hear the commentary track on that episode.

i love matt groenings commentary and what not. there is so much underlining shit and so much things taken from other movies, shows, cities and what not.

but i have yet to see it since september 11th.
