Fez, you're absolutely not alone. I've thought it was "Ted" for months. Not until tonight did I realize it, at the same time, when they said "Dan" in a conversation.

After El Jefe got on the air, I just figured WJFK was giving out time slots to anyone who showed up.

I got the "Dan" part eventually, only because she refers to him by name in the ad, but my dumb ass thought they were saying,

"Up late with Dan and MadDog... up late!"

The newer ones are a little more clear, and I finally "got" the "Amanda" part.

Either way, these ads stink and I don't like 'em

It was quite a while before I even got the "up late with..."- part of the commercial.
I was sure it was Ted also, and was under the impression that I'd heard the name "Ted" mentioned in an early ad.

I hate the damned commercial. It's good that I keep my 12 guage unloaded...

Anyway, anyone care to describe this on-air situtation to people who missed or cant hear the show?
