i dont, for the life of me, understand why WNEW would run pre-season football instead of their contracted talk show program. why dont ron and fez get any respect from the station? how are they ever to get a consistent audience when they are bounced around so much and then have other programming replaced in their time slot? i dont turn in to wnew to hear wfan. i dont get it. someone please enlighten me. i was so looking forward to the paul-o oscar blurbs tonite.

It's ok, without them on I got a lot of things done, accidentally fell asleep at 6:30, woke up at 7:45, watched the end on the JSBSB special on CC (I can't believe there's only one LI theater showing it Saturday), slept a bit more at 8, watched Big Brother at 9, and watched Mallrats at 10.

station to air on for the
entire length of the game. I
think at least for this
season, WFAN will have all the

Your right. ron and fez are not getting any respect on WNEW, and that screws up WTKK in boston. because they've moved the show from 11-3 to 3-7 to 7-11, WTKK in boston wont keep moving them therefore i only get to hear 2 hours of the show. the worst part is if i get to hear some of the beginning online, those idiots at WTKK play the fist two hours of the show! they dont even edit to play the best parts(although the whole show is great). ive done enough bitchin about that F'n radio station today. CYA!

what gets to me the most is "why the fuck do they broadcast games over the radio????" I could understand like.. well.. for example your at a bar and the game is playing on the tv. You dont need to hear the damn thing, audio on the game is absolutely of no importance. you watch it u see whats going on, you want the score, you look at the top left corner and bam its right there. I cant for the life of me sit infront of a radio and listen to a game. its just stupid, it requires too much imagination, I'm too lazy for that. ah fuck wnew!!!

Actually listening to football, baseball, basketball, and other sports events are pretty entertaining, to a lot of people. Most tv announcers suck horribly, so sometimes if you can turn down the sound on the tv and the sound up on the radio, things get better. Given it's preseason football, but WNEW probably had were/are under contract to broadcast no matter who gets pre-empted.

A perfect example are the guys who always end up doing the Knick games on NBC. Usually they have they're second or third tier announcers on, and it's brutal to listen to. Bill Walton has gotten better, but listening to the FAN for the broadcasts is still great.
