I was wondering what you guys thought was the best movie of the summer, now that it's over.
My absolute fave this summer was Pirates of the Carribean, followed by Finding Nemo. I really liked X-Men 2, but thought these two were stronger movies.

The Matrix and Finding Nemo was pretty good, but i guess id go with pirates of the carribean, aside from those i dont think there were that many really good movies that i saw anyway.

Cradle 2 the Grave, Bruce Almighty, Matrix 2 and American Wedding are the only ones I think I've seen recently. I liked American Wedding best. But they all had great parts.

i saw hulk, t3, x2, matrix, freddy vs jason, pirates of the caribbean, and lxg. i wouldve seen finding nemo but i figured il wait until i cant rent it, all the others were 'movie theatre' movies, as i call it.
the best: x-men 2, i completely forgot i was watching a movie and felt like i was watching the comic book. it really was the best of the summer.
the surprise: t3. i expected nothing special at best a,d garbage as the most likely crap to released in this non-cameron sequel, and i was wrong. all the action that was in 1 and 2 were in 3 if not more so.
the favorite: sorry im a huge freddy and jason fan seen all the movies, and with the exception of 2 of them, they were all great. it was the movie i waited to see since 94 and it finally came out. and it was filled with as much gore and beautiful perky breasts as the rest.

It will be in Australia.
For me it would be X-men 2, especially since it's the only movie I saw.

Toss up between Matrix and 28 Days Later. Am I the only one who saw the latter?

I am going to reserve judging MATRIX 2 until MATRIX 3 comes out; my opinion is, the two are really two parts to one movie.
Loved 28 DAYS LATER (even if it wasn't a sequel to that Sandra Bullock movie - ha!); it's the current weekend midnight movie at the Arlington Cinema and Drafthouse and might be worth going back and seeing on the big screen again.
