Careful now. Mewes has done this before. Kevin Smith himself has said that "Jason is good at rehab...it's the after part where he has trouble."
I just want him clean for that animated "Clerks 2: Hardly Clerkin'" movie that keeps getting tossed around.

Jason and Kevin decided the documentary wasn't a good idea after all. They had considered filming a scene of Jayson shooting up. Yeah, not such a hot idea.
And the haircut wasn't his idea. It was one of the rules of the rehab center.

"Clerks 2: Hardly Clerkin'"
But Kev's said he's done the last J&SB movie, with the exception of the animated movie.

Maybe he's waiting to see if his Fletch (http://imdb.com/title/tt0275354/) movie bombs at the box office. If it does, then maybe he'll go back to Jay and Silent Bob.

A Fletch prequel? I never heard of this.

I didn't like the first Scary Movie, and I didn't bother watching the sequel even though Andy Richter was in it, but this third one actually looks decent and with Kevin Smith as director, it should be watchable.
Hopefully, Jason Mewes won't suffer from a Chevy Chase disorder where he decides to stop being funny after going clean.

The Fletch prequel will be called Fletch Won.
Kevin Smith had Jason Lee set to star, which would have been great, but Mirimax wanted a bigger name. As of right now, a lead hasn't been cast.

Kev wrote it, didn't direct it.
