When I was listening to the Sept 11 show in which i chewed a caller out. it just seemed that (I dont know if it was the area but people didnt have that same connection as if you lived by those towers( I myself am from Jersey)
I think they miss just that different atmosphere that the city can only bring :(

There isn't much anyone can do, the contrast between the two stations is nothing short of AWFUL. Ron and Fez have next to nothing to work with and the show is a shell of its former self. Every aspect of the move has turned out to be detrimental and I've given MORE than enough time, the callers SUCK, the guests SUCK, the staff SUCKS and D.C SUCKS! I just hope they make it back to NYC sooner than later. I am a fair person and call it like I see it but it's been more than enough time and you people that have been preaching that the show would be back to at least par are so full of shit (or denial) it is coming out of your ears. Ron and Fez must be absolutely horrified to have ended up at a station that is pushing the likes of "El Jefe" like his name was Terry Bollea and this was the early 80's. However, WJFK is superb fuel for the "Bring back Ron & Fez" campaign so never let anyone tell ya your good for nothing.

Theres nothing like the NYC Ron & Fez shows. It didnt matter what time slot they had they just killed- every show. Theres a definite difference between the NYC shows and the ones out of DC.

I love the show no matter what but I hope the DC callers and everyone associated with the show down there keep the show as great as possible cause no ones gonna bring back a show with low ratings.

The trends are going up for Ron and Fez. I talked to Fez Friday night. The boys are still adjusting to the new hours. They are taking off on Monday nights for a while so they will not be so burnt out.

I agree I miss the sarcastic calls from NYC. I used to love the comedy pyramids and Fezatorials. We have to give it some time. New Yorkers don't stop calling the show.

In the realm of Reality, DC vs NYC talk is so over and pointless. Even if every DC listener signed on here and signed a internet petition saying they sucked, it STILL wouldn't put Ron and Fez back on in NYC from 7-11. So stop it.

I am one man who has not listened to the show since it left NYC and I miss the boys a lot. There is a huge hole in my night from 7-11. TV is a vast wasteland. Other radio usually bores me. The Ron and Fez show was always live, topical and hysterical.

You talk continually as if the show shouldn't be on in DC. Its gone far, FAR beyond just trying to get the show back on NYC. It's clear you don't want the show on in DC, the people in that audience participating, or even listening. Protest all you want, but your continued attacks speak more than clearly enough.

Get off your high horse and quit attacking US, the local listeners, for something we didn't do and don't have any control over. The majority of the regular DC posters have been here for some time, and have nothing but love for the show, but you talk like we've actively gone out of our way to cause a slide in the show's decline and make it worse than it was back in the "glory days." Most of us are just happy and relieved that they're still on. YOU talk like we shouldn't have the show at all.

Maybe I'm taking this all wrong, but it's what's being said over and over and I can't help but see those sort of sentiments. There are hundreds of DC listeners who have been here for YEARS who are apparently just lumped in with all the "suckiness" because of where we are. I'm getting sick of being criticized along with an entire audience just because YOU don't like where the show ended up. Tough. You wanna "tell it like it is"? I think its completely nonsensical for New Yorkers to attack DC listeners. If we were to follow this rationale,wouldn't the Florida audience hate New Yorkers for "ruining their show"? Its Ron and Fez' show and they constantly evolve the show according to their momentary interests.

It's that simple, don't come here and blame the fans who keep the Ron and Fez show alive for "lowering it." If it were up to some of you, you'd rather see Ron and Fez unemployed than in any other market.

Blame D.C. all you want for "taking" Ron and Fez. You guys did all you could to try and get the show to stay on. But now instead of writing more letters and setting up more rally's, you waste that potential on coming on this board to blame D.C. for "taking the show."

I feel bad for people like Sheepy, Heckler and the sorts, who worked thier asses off, you need those people more than ever to lead you and campaign to bring the show back, but instead you would rather blame the new listeners.
