Do tv shows count for 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon? Because if they do, I don't think anything would be ever more than 2 degrees.

I swear just about every actor/actress out there has been on it. Everyone from tv folk like Marcia Cross (Kimberly on Melrose), Karen Grassle (mom on little house on the prarie), and Jerry Orbach (Law & Order) to people like Ricardo Montelban, John Rhys-Davies and Carrie Fisher... I swear EVERYONE has been on this show. And those are just the ones that I can recall seeing in episodes that have aired in the last few weeks (oh yeah, I love this show).

Monica from Friends was in an episode. (She was getting married and an uncle "presumed dead" sent her a card to congradulate her). He left the family to join the circus.

EDIT: Also Father Mucahy from MASH was on the show. He was a bird watcher and secret lover.

When I was younger, I hated the show when it was on CBS. But when I became an old folk, I began to like the show.
Odd facts:
1. Cabot Cove is the murder capital of the US.
2. Being a mystery writer sure gives you alot of leway with the police dept.
3. For some reason, people associated or somehow involved with Jessica Fletcher always seem to die or commit murder. She should choose her friends more carefully.
