Yes it is true..I am a certified New York State 6 hour class defensive driving teacher. It is the class that will save you 10% on your liability, collision and no fault insurance and can reduce your point violation by 4 points.

The class is given monthly in East Meadow...ask for the one given by Billy, cause they have someother loser every once in awhile, but not for long

Trust me, my class is not boring.

If you have enough people and your own place, like a hall or lodge or something, I can even come to you.

I like Offensive Driving better:

Be aware of what's around you and ALWAYS check your blind spot.

When in slow heavy traffic, leave alot of space between you and the car ahead of you, and try not to use your brakes. This avoids the stop&go bullshit and the cars behind you enjoy a nice 5 mph ride.

I keep all the asshole drivers BEHIND me thus, no problems in front of me. When some prick is zipping in & out of lanes, and he comes up to pass you on the right, don't give him the space. These assholes can be easily contained in traffic. Keep garbage in your car to throw at him.

When you are involved in a "Road Rage" confrontation, and some crazed motorist is chasing you, always stop 30 feet before a traffic light. When the enraged motorist gets out of his car to choke you, slowly inch your car up faster&faster, keep going until he is running next to your car. The light should've changed by now and you're gone, while the jerkoff still has to run back and get in his car. (true story)
