At about 6:52 or so the last caller was doing an Iris impersonation but unfortunately the Keeg or Wally; I don't know which is which punched out on the call early. Not very exciting but it did make me chuckle, good to think of the boys being represented in NYC. Hoping for the real thing in the future.

When she calls into the MAC AND SID show on FAN, the guys play along. SID always will say how much he loves RON AND FEZ when the call is over.

I was the one who called. There is no way that I can prove this to you, but whatever, it was thoroughly enjoyable at the moment.
I called on the pretense that I disagreed with their earlier point regarding paying so much to see a game (in their case, a Jets game), and feeling it a waste when your team loses. I do in fact disagree, and said so to the screener. You are at the game to have fun. It is 50/50 if they will win or not. You still have fun. If they win, it is more funner. You do not immediately regret the $200 or so you plunked down (including concessions, food, gas, tolls, parking, good seats, etc.).
When asked for my name, I said "Bucky"; curiously, it was the first thing that came to mind.
I was on hold for about 5 minutes, and I was indeed the very last caller, at about 6:55 or so. And by the way, they have very little - if any - delay, so if anyone out there wants to get involved, be aware of this anomaly.
Also, I have called ESPN on and off but regularly for the past 3 months, always repeating the same mantra: "Do you think Lou Pinella looks like a fish?" I have had long long conversations with several screeners/producers and a few various hosts (Don LaGreca is one) off the air about this.

I do and as a matter of fact not only is it incredibly informative and I LEARN things, it happens to be quite entertaining and refreshing compared to the conservative bullshit that clouds the other news/talk stations.

i'll agree fluff. generally, i'm on the other side, but, among all the hippie-lib babble, there will be something that might make me review my opinions or even modify them. i enjoy taking in the other side, on occassion- but a lot of the time npr is over the top and very hard to swallow.
also, i don't watch a lot of tv, or listen to the radio- other than sports. i'll read to get info and not have it forced down my throat.
