About time. I actually liked her till they got kicked off NEW the first time. When she came back, the show just sucked. It sucked on the 'Q' and it'll suck wherever it lands, if anywhere.
I guess those billboards are right, she's not Stern.

I HATE THIS BITCH!
She was NEVER funny on WNEW and she continued to SUCK when she got new work elsewhere.
This doesn't effect me at all because I wouldn't listen to her show on a bet, but NY radio is better without her.

Replacing her with Jim Kerr? That D-Bag is still around?
It sucks that they are pulling Shelli Sonstein off of the BiG Greasy Breakfast.

reguardless of what O&A "would have said" or what anyone else thinks, i'm kinda sad to hear this news. I for one always enjoyed her show, I don't think she was anywhere near as funny as O&A or even R&F but I thought her show was decent nonetheless. I hope she finds another home somewhere soon.

I was always of the impression that if those 2 unfunny dicks left the show I could listen to her alone and enjoy it aslong as she played alot of music i like but I guess we'll never know.

The show was alright. I always thought Chuck carried those 2 crackers and the music was pretty good. I'm surprised they got canned. They were pulling in decent ratings weren't they?

So do I. Hopefully without the horribly unfunny Chuck Nice; he's the reason I had to stop listening to the show.
Another alternative to Stern gone. Sad.

Leslie Gold was the catalyst for a bad show. However, she had very good diction, and pronounced her words and each syllable carefully. Her voice can be best described as "crispy". Hearing her speak is like eating fresh celery. Also, Leslie Gold has nice looking breasts, for a middle-aged woman.

fine...I may be the only person out on this limb but...I liked her a HELL of alot better then Howard Stern. Fuck how O and A treated her....I met the woman and she was not only HOT but she was also very nice and kind..and Butchy and Chuck were hysterical also. I think 104.3 fucked up. The Chick has a good show. She had a good show at NEW and has one at the Q. Now AM radio TRUELY sucks....shit I have to listen to 95.5 now.

Now that Spoon is no longer with the Hideout, maybe El Jefe can throw her a bone...so to speak.

So, I'm looking for some REALISTIC choices for the morning drive.
1- Woodman on K104 - ok but a little sombre and quiet for the morning
2- Stern - forget it
3- Scott and Todd (as well as Z-100) - cant take more than 10 min of either show
- any other suggestions for the NYC/Westchester area?

Maybe you guys will be getting this douche. If so, I'm truly sorry.
From DCRTV
Elliot To NYC, More Rumors - 9/30 - There have long been rumblings that Elliot Segal (right), the morning man at Clear Channel rocker DC101, wants to be heard again in NYC, from where he came a few years ago. And there has been talk that Elliot has been talking to Infinity about making such a move when his contract with CC is up. However, there's been an interesting development in the Big Apple radio scene. Morning gal Leslie Gold has just exited WAXQ, CC's NYC classic rocker. The trade pubs are reporting that Gotham radio vet Jim Kerr, a weekender at AXQ, will take over the morning show - for now. But what about the long term? Might Elliot be able to stay with CC and get back on the air in market number one - and still be heard on DC101? Stay tuned.....

I had started listening to her again in the mornings before I went to work, and I'm sad to see her go (again), especially since the new guy seems to suck.
I don't see this as a victory for O&A/R&F - to me, the more comedy talk shows on FM the better the chance of them coming back to the NY airwaves.

Can't go wrong with Coitus and Kuby. Then Michael Kay, although he is only there 1/2 the time. Then, a little switching to El Rushbo. Then ... well, then is when I have to go to work. I end up not listening to the radio very much at night; if anything, it is those 2 guys who are one and a half gay, you know 'em, you love 'em, Batchelor and Alexander. The only other show I like is only on Wednesday nights from 10 pm - 11 pm on 96.3FM - Reflections on the Keyboard, a comparitive analysis. Although, since it is only on once a week, I miss it 3 out of 4 times on average. Besides, this is yet another gay guy, David Dubal, and speaks as if he is French (he is not).

Has anyone ever heard Mancows radio show? I haven't but I wonder how he'd do in a New York market if his show was syndicated here. I don't care for him much when I see him on Fox and Friends, but I would be interested in at least once hearing his radio show. I'm guessing from I've heard about it that it sucks, but I'd like to judge for myself.
