I happened to catch one the other night. It was lame, but had the new logo and the big thing was they didn't use the music women love' saying, they changed it to something else.

Did anyone else see it? Please tell me i wasn't hallucinating or dreaming about Blink, shoot me now.
Do you know what the new tag line they said was?

Remember that one commercial WNEW had for Opie and Anthony? It ran during Howards CBS Saturday night show....once.

I dont understand managment for the life of me.

They had O&A, R&F, D&M, and the potential of forming a kick ass talk station and NEVER ADVERTIZED IT!! The second they change the station to queer music and soft talking gossip mongers, they have ads on every bus in the tri-state area. Did they really think people wanted to listen to that crap?!? If they did...why do these managment asses still have jobs? The second a DJ doesnt get the ratings they toss'em like an unwanted fetis.

I was flipping through the channels, and on one of em, I see part of a logo that looks like it says blink (the other part was covered by the digital cable banner that covers the bottom of the screen). So then I flipped back to the channel, and watched the commercial. Talk about faggy. And Billy is right, they didnt use the "music women love" slogan, it was somthing faggier, but wasnt directed towards women.

And ofcorse, I did a big laugh after I saw it.

The commercial I saw was of a Dido video with the WNEW 102.7 Blink "bug" in the lower right corner and the the tag line "Music that fits"

It reminded me of the thousand of "LiteFM" spots I have seen over the years, but again that is the point.
