That stockpile of weapons they found at the supposed terrorist camps yesterday sure seem pretty damning.

I can understand why Syria would want to protect themselves from unwarranted attack, but it seems they're not even bothering to try and explain what the terrorist camps actually were, in the super-really-totally-off-off-OFF chance that they WEREN'T terrorist camps. How do they expect that's gonna look? Just 'fess up.

Sounds like Israel has their own "Axis of Evil" now between Syria, Lebanon and Iran. Wonder where America will end up in all this...

I have some questions.

Everytime that a suicide bomber attacks Israel, within a day Israel is retaliating. Does Israel know exactly where their attackers are located, (and please don't say Palestine) or do they have a list of places that they'd like to attack that they just refer to whenever needed?

Within a day of this incident, Israel retaliated against Syria. So, is that camp in Syria directly related to the incident in Haifa? Or, did Israel already know it existed and if so, why can't Israel take preventive measures. Another thing, doesn't Israel have to declare war against another country before bombing it?

I just want to be more clear about things.

I believe they have a map of suspected (or confirmed) training camps on a "hit list" to retaliate against after a terror attack.

Good question. I don't know why they don't go after these camps. Israel went after Iraq's nuclear reactor facility ar Osirak in 1981 and even has drawn up plans to the same to an Iranian facility. But exactly why they won't (or can't) preemptively strike terrorist training camps is unclear.

The only solution to this problem that seems feasible to me is for the Jordanians to absorb the Palestinian refugees in exchange for about half of the occupied territory.

This option should be pursued seriously now. We all know that Bush is looking for a way into Syria and Iran, and he could manipulate the Palestinian terrorists to achieve it.

I too agree that Israell, as with any country should be able to defend itself. I'd just like to see them do it without 9 billion US dollars. Either that or we should send matching funds to the other side and see how it plays out.

I do recognize my hatred. And yes, it is a terrible thing. It consumes most of my thoughts when i'm not busy working. It is however, part of me. Something which cannot be changed. As far as going over there to help. Unfortuantely I cannot. I have in years past volunteered over there and do support them with donations. Now that i'm working again, I can give a lot more of my money and support.

And how does crap like this go unaddressed for 3 pages. You want to send matching funds to the terrorists to see how it plays out? I don't know about you, but it always seems that it's ISRAEL that trys to give a little 1st and is the only one that actually wants peace. Now I'm not sure if it's because they're more peace loving and smarter or if they do it out of the feeling that they NEED to seek peace more because they're surrounded on all sides by Arabs. But they're the ones who seem to come to the table 1st and it always ends up with another bomber killing Jews.

I agree with you that Syria's terrorist element needs to be taken care of. If pressure and all that happy shit doesn't work, then military action needs to happen. But I hope that the military takes the same precautions it did in Iraq to protect civlians because I know for a fact that there are a lot of people there who just want the dictatorship and terrorism to end so they can have a chance at a better life.

I actually visited an openly Christian town in Syria. They have crosses painted up on high cliff walls and I visited the summit of the town where a shrine is kept quite nicely to a Catholic saint. I forget the name but I think it started with a T like talka or something.
