I agree. However, you should consider the ones that are generic (supermarket brand), unscented, and are in a bag with the reusable closure.

Pathmark doesn't have a "no frills" wipe butt I'll check Stop&Shop. I currently use "Wet Ones Vitamin E & Aloe". It feels so much better than just schmearing shit into your skin.

I posted a thread about this a while back, butt I can't find it.

Do a search yourself, you will find many many. And ones in a bag, with a resealable closure, unscented, generic brand. With or without aloe.

My aunt used to use TUCKS, and those were too small and disgusting to operate comfortably.

Regarding wipes, NEVER buy the Kleenex kind. They are ripping people off, as if these are somehow Special. The only ones to use are the ones made expressly for babies.

I tried these wipes but all they did was make my back bottom sting and bleach my private hairs...
Do Not use this type for personal hygenic purposes. These are for household cleaning; instead of using a paper towel or cloth and spraying on the cleaning solution, this type of wipe already has the cleaning solution baked into the wipe itself, and when you shmear it on something the cleaner is released.

It is another one of these rip-offs, and I do not recommend you buy these.

No. I prefer the Cotonelle ones to the generic ones. And I prefer the box because it doesn't slip off the top of the toilet and onto the floor. Besides, I refill the box. Thank you for your opinion but I will stick with mine.

Suit yourself, you will find out on your own that this is definitely not what you should be buying.

At least it will have been on my own and not on the advice of a messageboard.

But please, I would dearly love to hear why wet wipes in resealable packages are superior to those in refillable boxes.

1. The ones in the box are more expensive, even when you buy the refills and put them into your existing box.

2. The ones in the bag are interfolded for easy dispensing one at a time. The ones in the box are not so simple to remove and use, the refill pack must be inserted with the fold facing toward the rear of the box so that you can pull toward you to remove the top one, and even then - sometimes the wipe becomes torn due to the force necessary to remove it. Also, when removing the ones in the box, sometimes more than one come out at a time, they stick to each other.
3. Eventually, even when you reuse a box, it needs to be replaced due to wear and tear. And now you have to invest in another box, instead of just buying the more economical refill.
4. The ones in the box usually come with a large label or graphic image of a baby, which is disturbing since you are using it for yourself, not a baby. (Conversely, one of the reasons you do not want to buy that Kleenex Cottenelle crap sans baby image is because the baby ones are larger and thicker. Very manipulative marketing - the adult ones should be larger and thicker, not the other way around.) The ones in the bag have a much smaller image of a baby on the resealable flap, which is less obtrusive.

I could go on and on with more reasons. The point is, do whatever you want, remember whenever the time comes that you finally realize that you should never buy the ones in the box that you were given ample notice, it will be All your own fault.
