Has anyone tried Anheuser World Select? it's the latest beer from Anheuser-Bush, the company that nearly destroyed American beer. I don't have high hopes for it. The only A-B beer I enjoy is Michelob Amber Bock.

Didn't A-B used to have ads that made fun of imported beers? Now it has a beer called "World Select"?

I tried World Select about a month ago. Awful. It costs just as much as an import and isn't anywhere near as good. You're better off spending your money on Beck's.

It was nationally advertised. I remember seeing the commercials during NFL games back in the day

Not as big a failure as the:
Budweiser LA Riots Edition.
I have no follow-up for this bit of 'humour'

Was Bud LA a low alcohol beer?
Remember when everyone was going through the Dry and Ice phase.
It got pretty bad when Milwaukees best had a light and an ice beer. When people were drinking the beast it didn't matter if it was lite or an ice beer it was 2.00 a six pack and 7 bucks for a case. We would drink 2-4 good beers then a case of the beast.
